Full-height pedestrian access control
The Civiltec Turnstile Gate System is ideal for pedestrian portal management at key site access points. Its full-height design provides a strong physical access control point for people entering or exiting the site.
As with all Civiltec security gate products, the system is designed to reduce your security risk profile and protect against unauthorised access.
Bi-directional movement for peak flow periods
The Civiltec turnstile is a bi-directional gate with a passage output of 10–15 people per minute, allowing it to cope with peak pedestrian flow periods.
For sites with significantly higher pedestrian volumes, multiple turnstile units can be added to increase throughput while maintaining controlled entry and exit management.
Supporting accessibility and controlled movement of bulky items
The addition of a pedestrian swing gate adjacent to the turnstile allows bulkier items such as boxes, packaging, toolboxes and work trolleys to access the site in a controlled and secure manner.
These adjacent gates can also be used to enhance wheelchair and disability accessibility, while maintaining pedestrian access control at the security portal.
Powered and solenoid options
Civiltec’s standard turnstile specification is a powered unit. A lower specification solenoid unit is also available where suitable for the site and application.
